Four charged after alleged hammer assault and car-ramming in Sydney”

Four people have been charged after an alleged assault involving hammers and cars being rammed in Sydney’s inner west.

A group of people allegedly used hammers to assault a 54-year-old and 22-year-old on Peninsula Drive, Breakfast Point at 6.30pm yesterday.

The group then allegedly fled on foot to nearby Village Drive.

The 22-year-old man was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries to his head.

Shortly after, the same group allegedly approached a car, as the 54-year-old victim watched from a nearby vehicle.

The 54-year-old allegedly rammed his car into the car the group had approached, damaging both vehicles and also a nearby motorcycle.
