The ban applies to checked baggage and cabin baggage. If prohibited devices are found, they will be confiscated by the Dubai Police.
All passengers traveling on flights to, from or through Dubai are prohibited from carrying pagers and remote controls in their checked baggage or in the cabin. “Such items found in passengers’ hand luggage or checked baggage will be confiscated by the Dubai Police,” the statement said.
Dubai’s flagship airline also released updates on flight services to and from Jordan, Iraq, Iran and Lebanon.
