Gardai are questioning two men after officers seized a loaded firearm in central Dublin early on St Patrick’s Day. The Mirror has learned that the pistol was captured during a planned operation in a property in the north inner city early on Monday morning.
It is understood the weapon was seized as part of an investigation by gardai from the Crumlin area of south Dublin – backed up by members of the Emergency Response Unit
