Dozen parked cars ransacked at the Halle Gate in Brussels
.
Twelve cars parked along the Henri Jasparlaan at the Halle Gate in Sint-Gillis (Brussels Region) were broken into last night. The windows were smashed and the content of the cars was looted. The Brussels South police zone has confirmed the vandalism.Police say it’s a phenomenon that occurs almost every year during the Zuidfoor, the fair held in the vicinity of the South Station (Zuid/Midi). “It happens more and more often. Criminals know that many people park there, close to the fair, and then they strike,” says officer Vadim Grunberg.

“We have deployed extra patrols in this neighbourhood, but cannot be everywhere at the same time, unfortunately”.

The identity of the looters is the subject of an investigatio
