Shohei Ohtani hit a leadoff home run and Mookie Betts homered and finished with four hits and four RBIs for the Los Angeles Dodgers, who took control of the National League Championship Series with a 10-2 win over the New York Mets in Game 4 on Thursday night.
The Dodgers lead the best-of-seven series 3-1 and will attempt to clinch the pennant and a trip to the World Series in Game 5 on Friday.
The league said Thursday that the do-or-die Game 5 between the Dodgers and the San Diego Padres in the National League Division Series — which also featured a pitching matchup between the Dodgers’ Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Padres starter Yu Darvish — on Oct. 11 was the most-watched postseason game ever in Japan.
