Speaking at Government House after an urgent meeting on construction safety, Mr Anutin said that the incidents had caused public alarm and posed serious risks to lives and property.
He instructed the Transport Ministry to cancel the contracts, pursue legal action and blacklist the construction contractor based on advice from the Council of State and the Office of the Attorney General. He said this action aims to restore public confidence and reassure foreign investors.
Mr Anutin expressed concern as the same contractor has been linked to multiple serious accidents over the past 10 months
