One of the busiest smuggling rings in the English Channel has been taken down by police. According to Europol, the smugglers could
sent eight ships to the UK each day. German, French, and Belgian police conducted a year-long investigation that resulted in the arrest of nineteen individuals in Germany. Numerous inflatable small boats, engines, and life jackets were found during raids at 28 different locations.
