Baseball star Ohtani Shohei of Japan is returning to the United States without Mizuhara Ippei, his interpreter. Mizuhara was let go by the Los Angeles Dodgers due to charges of theft and illicit gaming.
Since Ohtani relocated to the US in 2017, Mizuhara has reportedly been a few steps away from the two-way player, according to NHK. He traveled with the Dodgers to Seoul for the opening game of the Major League Baseball season.
