Australia bowls out India on day five of Boxing Day Test at MCG to take 2-1 Border-Gavaskar Trophy lead

Whew, what a win from Australia. That’s got to be one of the best wins this generation of cricketers have enjoyed.

This match looked certain to be headed towards a draw or an India win when the tourists headed into tea just three wickets down.

Rishabh Pant started the rot, going for an ill-advised slog off Travis Head.

After that, no other Indian batter reached double figures in a truly incredible collapse. In the end, Australia has won with PLENTY of time to spare.

That’s an absolute gut punch for the tourists.

India’s last seven wickets fell for just 34 runs in the space of 21 overs. An absolute, absolute bottle job.

They now head to Sydney needing a win to retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
