At the Glasgow World Athletics Indoor Championships Jemma Reekie of Great Britain advanced to the final of the women’s 800m race.

By setting a new record she continued her bid to win first global medal by qualifying fastest for the women’s 800m final . Her performance in winning her semi-final in one minute 58.28 seconds and gaining more confidence ahead of Sunday’s medal race was flawless.
