Around 5:40 a.m., police received an emergency call from the bar reporting that its manager had picked up a female customer. Officers from the Atago Station of the Metropolitan Police Department arrived at the bar located on the first floor of a multi-tenant building in Shimbashi to find the employee, Yuna Tanisawa, 18, stabbed in the neck by a customer male Tanisawa, a resident of Edogawa Ward, was taken to hospital where she later died.
