Pakistan said it hit Kabul, Kandahar ,Pakita,In Kandahar, airstrikes destroyed a corps headquarters and a brigade headquarters, along with an ammunition depot and a logistics base. In Paktia, a corps headquarters of the Taliban was also destroyed during the air operations.

Moreover, Pakistani jets are conducting aerial patrols over Kandahar following recent airstrikes, security sources stated.

“After carrying out precise airstrikes, our aircraft are now patrolling Kandahar’s airspace,” the sources added, emphasising that Pakistani forces remain fully prepared to respond decisively to any aggression.

Sources further said security forces are carrying out strong and effective operations against Taliban forces along the Torkham border.The confrontation along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border intensified dramatically overnight, as security sources said that the Pakistan Air Force jets had started carrying out strikes, destroying what they described as a major ammunition depot in the Nangarhar province.

As many as 133 personnel of the Afghan Taliban regime were killed in retaliatory action along the Pakistan–Afghanistan border, while over 200 others were wounded, a government official said on Friday, following unprovoked cross-border attacks on Pakistani positions.

Afghan Taliban militants were killed, with over 120 injured, and several frontline positions neutralised. He said 16 Taliban posts were destroyed while seven were captured.

Key installations hit included a large ammunition depot, a battalion headquarters, and a sector headquarters of the Afghan Taliban, he noted. The operation reportedly also destroyed more than 36 tanks, artillery guns, and armoured personnel carriers.

Zaidi warned that further counter-attacks would follow, reinforcing Pakistan’s resolve to respond immediately and effectively to any aggression.

In an earlier update on social media, he wrote: “Alhamdolillah, not only have no Pakistani posts been captured or damaged, but the Pakistani side has inflicted heavy losses across the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in response to unprovoked Taliban aggression.
