Palestinian civilians are free to return to the Khan Younis suburb of al-Qarara now that military operations there have concluded, according to the IDF.
During an Israeli Defense Forces operation in Khan Younis, the area had been evacuated and temporarily removed from the Israeli-designated humanitarian zone.
Col. Avichay Adraee, the IDF’s Arabic-speaking spokesman, says that the previously evacuated areas will now again be considered part of the humanitarian zone. He releases a map showing the changes made to the zone.
