A UN team came to the conclusion that there were “reasonable grounds to believe” that sexual violence, including gang and rape, had occurred during the October 7th Hamas attacks in Israel. They also said there was “convincing information” that hostages had been subjected to sexual violence.The trip was led by Pramila Patten, the UN Special Representative on Sexual Violence in Conflict.
