Antonin Kinsky is joining Spurs from Slavia Prague in an initial £12.5million deal after a number of high-profile errors from backup stopper Fraser Forster and a nightmare run of results in the absence of No.1 Guglielmo Vicario
Spurs have been without first-choice stopper Guglielmo Vicario since he fractured his ankle during the 4-0 win over Manchester City on November 23. Fraser Forster initially deputised to good effect but Tottenham have only won two of their last 10 games in all competitions amid an injury crisis and Forster has made a number of high-profile errors.
That has forced the club to move to bring in Kinsky, who undergoes a medical on Saturday and will join Spurs in an initial £12.5million deal with add-ons. The Czech Republic Under-21 international has made 29 appearances for Slavia Prague this season and kept 14 clean sheets.
