An indian national has been charged after he allegedly forced his way onto a plane at Sydney International Airport and assaulted a security officer.
The 27-year-old man will appear at Downing Centre Local Court today charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He allegedly forced open an aerobridge door and boarded a plane on October 28.
The man was then confronted by the flight crew before he left the plane and allegedly assaulted a security officer, leaving the officer unconscious.
Federal officers arrested the man, charged him and issued him with a court attendance notice.
The man is now facing a maximum of five years imprisonment.
