Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said there was a “growing alliance” between Russia and regimes such as North Korea and that weapons and troops were being sent from Pyongyang to bolster the Russian military. Zelensky visited European capitals last week to ask for more military aid amid Russia’s three-year occupation of Ukraine
On Sunday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused North Korea of sending troops to the Russian military and again called for more support to prevent “a bigger war.”
Zelenskiy’s comments came days after he visited several European capitals to push his demand for more military and financial aid in the fight against Russian occupation forces.
“We see a growing alliance between Russia and regimes like North Korea,” Zelensky said in his evening speech.
