The Israeli military has deployed additional troops, including infantry and armored units, into Lebanon, escalating the ongoing conflict with Hezbollah. According to reports, the ground operation intensified this morning as Israeli forces engaged in the border village of Adaisseh, where Hezbollah fighters confronted them.

Sky News has reported continuous artillery fire between Israel and Hezbollah, with loud explosions echoing across the region. Correspondent Haynes described the situation as significantly more active today compared to previous days, with frequent sirens warning of Hezbollah attacks on Israeli territory.

Last night, the Israeli military resumed airstrikes on Lebanon, specifically targeting Hezbollah positions. Early morning airstrikes left smoke and flames visible across the Beirut skyline, further escalating tensions in the region.

In a tragic development, six people were killed in an Israeli airstrike on the Ain al-Helweh camp on Tuesday, according to Lebanon’s official news agency. Among the victims was Hassan Maqdah, the son of Mounir Maqdah, a prominent leader of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, the armed faction of Fatah in Lebanon.

Hezbollah has claimed responsibility for firing two artillery shells at Israeli soldiers in the town of Metula. This latest act of aggression marks a further escalation in the conflict, with both sides exchanging heavy fire and showing no signs of de-escalation.

As tensions rise, the region remains on high alert, with the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah entering a more dangerous phase.
