The health minister of Lebanon claims that the nation “is already at war” and that Israeli airstrikes have forced nearly 500,000 people to escape their homes, as reported by SKY NEWS. He claimed that the recent Israeli attacks had resulted in the deaths of over 700 people and that the approximate number of displaced residents was close to 500,000.The head of the Israeli army tells the soldiers, “We are hitting Lebanon to get ready for an invasion.”
An army chief has informed Israeli troops that the purpose of Israel’s strikes on Lebanon is to prepare the ground for the “possible entry” of troops, adding that “your boots… will enter enemy territory.”
According to a military statement, General Herzi Halevi told troops on the Lebanon border, “You hear the jets overhead; we have been striking all day.”
“This is to continue weakening Hezbollah and to lay the groundwork for your potential entry.”
He continued, referring to the tens of thousands of Israelis who have been evacuated from areas close to the border, “the goal is very clear – to safely return the residents of the north.”
“In order to accomplish that, we are preparing the manoeuvre process, which entails that your military boots, your manoeuvring boots, will enter enemy territory and carry out attacks on Israeli civilians in villages that Hezbollah has set up as sizable military outposts, complete with underground infrastructure, staging areas, and launchpads.”
“You are going to go in, destroy the enemy there, and destroy their infrastructure decisively,” he continued.
“These are the items that will enable us to safely repatriate the northern residents later on.”
Reserve brigades from Israel’s military have already been dispatched to Lebanon’s northern border for “operational missions”.
