The IDF is getting ready to launch a ground offensive against Hezbollah in Lebanon, according to Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi, Chief of Staff of the IDF.
We can hear the planes overhead; they are attacking all the time. Halevi speaks to soldiers from the 7th Armored Brigade during a ground assault drill in Lebanon. “Take part in bringing Hezbollah to heel as well as preparing the area in case you decide to enter Lebanon.”
“Today, Hezbollah extended its [sphere of influence].” After the terror group fired a missile at central Israel this morning, he promises that it will face a “very strong response” later on in the day.
“Today is not the end for us; we will not give up on attacking and hitting them everywhere. To safely repatriate the [displaced] residents of the north is the clear objective, says Halevi.
He addresses the soldiers, saying, “To do this, we are preparing the [ground] maneuver.”
