According to US Central Command (CENTCOM), in the early hours of August 29, its forces carried out a coordinated raid in western Iraq with the Iraqi Security Forces, killing fifteen members of the Islamic State (ISIS).
According to CENTCOM, “the ISIS element was armed with numerous weapons, grenades, and explosive “suicide” belts.” It further states that there were no signs of civilian deaths during the raid.
