A woman has been arrested after a man was injured in an alleged assault in Dublin.
The man suffered injuries at around 6.20pm yesterday evening near the Long Mile Road in Walkinstown.
He was taken to St James’s Hospital where his condition has been described as serious but stable.
The woman was arrested in connection with the incident and has been detained at a garda station in the Dublin metropolitan region under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
Gardaí said investigations were ongoing.
