Report: Trump Considering Limited Strikes on Iran Amid Shaky Cease-fire-

U.S. President Donald Trump is considering resuming “limited military strikes” on Iran in hopes of breaking through a deadlock in peace talks, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing officials and people familiar with the matter.

■ The United States Central Command announced that it will implement a naval blockade of all Iranian ports in the Arabian Gulf and Gulf of Oman starting Monday at 10 A.M. Eastern Time. According to the announcement, the blockade will not affect other countries’ ports.

■ Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf responded to President Donald Trump’s threats, saying, “‌If you fight, we will fight, ‌and ‌if you come forward ‌with logic, ‌we will deal with ‌logic.” The country’s Revolutionary Guards said that military vessels approaching the Strait of Hormuz would be considered a breach of the cease-fire.
