On Wednesday, Kuwait’s interior ministry reported “severe material damage” at several vital facilities of the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation and the energy and water resources ministry after an Iranian drone attack.
The ministry said fires broke out in some of the attacked sites, which it said include oil facilities and three power stations and water desalination plants.
Iran began launching missile and drone strikes on several countries in the region – including all six Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) members – shortly after the US-Israeli war with Iran began on February 28, despite those countries not taking part in the military campaign against Tehran.
