US-Israeli attacks continue against Iran

The United States and Israel continue to launch attacks against Iran, while Tehran vows to fight to the bitter end.

The US Central Command posted a video on Monday that contained an update by its commander, Admiral Brad Cooper. He said US forces have “destroyed over 100 Iranian naval vessels.” He also said they will continue to “deplete” Iran’s ability to threaten navigation in and around the Strait of Hormuz.

Cooper also said US forces attacked Iran’s Kharg Island in the Persian Gulf on Friday, and they destroyed more than 90 military targets, including storage bunkers for naval mines and missiles.

The island serves as the key oil export hub for Iran. Pipelines from oil fields across Iran are connected to the island’s facilities.

The Israel Defense Forces said it has launched a “wide-scale wave of strikes” against Tehran and other cities, targeting the regime’s infrastructure. It also said the Israeli Air Force destroyed a compound in Tehran, which was used to develop satellite attack capabilities.

Israeli media outlet Ynet said debris from missile interceptions hit a building in Jerusalem.

Iranian state-run media released a post from the new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei. It is his second statement, and again, does not contain his image. He called for officials appointed by the late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei to continue to carry out his father’s orders and policies.
