“Saudi Arabia signs deals worth more than $300 billion with US: Crown Prince” Saudi Arabia has signed deals with the US worth over $300 billion but is looking at $600 billion of investment opportunities, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said on Tuesday, adding that he hopes to raise the value to $1 trillion.

Speaking at the US-Saudi Investment Forum in Riyadh, US President Donald Trump praised the remarkable transformation underway in Saudi Arabia, attributing it to the leadership of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. He described the Crown Prince as a “very great man” and “the greatest representative of his people,” highlighting the essential role of the Saudi people in driving the region’s development.

Trump pointed to Riyadh’s rise as a global business hub and noted that the kingdom’s non-oil sector revenues have now surpassed those of the oil sector.

He also commended Saudi Arabia for preserving its rich traditions while embracing a forward-looking, modern vision.

Addressing regional challenges, Trump criticized the Biden administration’s decision to remove the Houthis from the US list of designated terrorist groups, calling it a serious mistake.

He contrasted Saudi Arabia’s progress with Iran’s decline, saying, “Some have turned deserts into farms, while Iran has turned its farms into deserts.”
