Earlier, FBI officials said they believed Shamsud-Din Jabbar may not have been working alone ahead of the New Orleans terror attack.
But Christopher Raia, deputy assistant director of the FBI’s counter-terrorism division, says the agency now believes he was a lone wolf.
He says the agency are currently reviewing two laptops found from Jabbar’s home during a search, as well as three mobile phones.
Two improvised explosive devices (IEDs) found in coolers recovered from the scene.
The public are not in danger in New Orleans, he adds.
There is also “no definitive link” between the New Orleans attack and Cybertruck explosion in Las Vegas.
