The policemen were killed in an attack on a checkpoint near the Afghan border. The Pakistani Taliban (TTP) claimed responsibility for the attack.
At least 10 members of Pakistan’s security forces were killed when their post was attacked, news agencies AFP and Reuters reported on Friday.
The attack took place near the northwestern city of Dera Ismail Khan on Thursday evening, and Reuters reported that the attack was confirmed by Ali Amin Khan Gandapur, prime minister of the northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa of the country
