Nottingham Forest defeated Liverpool 1-0 at Anfield thanks to a fantastic goal from substitute Callum Hudson-Odoi in the second half. It was the biggest upset victory of the Premier League season thus far for Nottingham Forest.
The home team had the better of the first half, with Luis Diaz hitting a post in the seventeenth minute. However, Liverpool’s attackers were too frequently out of sync, and much of their play lacked the fluidity that was typical of them as many of their chances went begging.
