On the final day of Notting Hill Carnival, there were five more stabbings and two hundred and thirty arrests. According to the force, two of the people who were stabbed are in critical condition; additionally, the 32-year-old woman who was stabbed on Sunday is still critically injured.
According to the Met, there was also an incident involving a caustic substance.
On Monday, police made at least 230 arrests, 49 of which were for offensive weapon possession.
