It is believed that the 67-year-old Irishman fell from the Grande Centre Point Pattaya Hotel’s 31st floor in Pattaya early on Monday morning, at approximately 5:06 a.m. local time.
An investigation into the man’s death has been opened by the local police. Before police arrived, reports state that hotel security staff used corrugated iron sheets to cordon off the areas.
In an effort to identify the official cause of the fall, police are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the hotel and the neighborhood. “We have taken photos of the scene as evidence,” Captain Chanan stated. Regarding the fall’s cause, we still need to establish whether it was an accident. We are going to review the CCTV footage.
