Thursday saw Taylor Swift perform at London’s Wembley Stadium, just over a week after Vienna police foiled a plot to carry out a terror attack, forcing the cancellation of three of her Eras Tour dates in the Austrian city.
The performances coincide with events in Vienna and come two weeks after three girls in northwest England died in a mass stabbing at a dance class centered around her music.
While performing her hit song “22” at Wembley, the American singer-songwriter made an appearance. She was wearing a T-shirt that said, “a lot going on at the moment,” which was taken to be a reference to both incidents.
