According to LA police, former Disney Channel actress Skai Jackson was taken into custody while visiting the Universal Studios theme park. Jackson rose to fame in the Disney Channel series Jessie, where she played Zuri Ross from 2011 to 2015.The police department revealed they responded to reports of an alleged domestic incident while inside the park just after 5 pm on Friday.
“Based on the initial investigation, it was determined Ms Jackson was the primary aggressor and was arrested for misdemeanour spousal battery,” police said.
The actress was taken to a police station in West Hollywood and will appear in Van Nuys Superior Court.
