2 New Zealand men arrested in Phuket for allegedly attacking policeman, snatching his gun | The Straits Times”       According to   The Straits Times    two New Zealand men were arrested in Phuket after they allegedly attacked a policeman and snatched his gun when they were pulled over for speeding on their motorcycles.

According to media reports citing a Thai-language statement from a Chalong police station, Hamish Day, 36, and Oscar Day, 38, are accused of riding their motorcycles at high speeds in a community area in Chalong, south of Phuket, on March 16 and failing to stay on the left side of the road.

According to The New Zealand Herald, the two men are brothers.
